2008 Advisory Committee Election Results

In June, members of the Plan re-elected Dr. Adeniyi Kelani to another term on the Advisory Committee.

Dr. Kelani, an active member of the Plan, is employed with the Auditor's Office. He has worked for the City for 11 years. Dr. Kelani will be serving another three-year term on the Advisory Committee.

The other members of the Committee are:

Mr. Mike Aleksick, an active member employed with the Office of the Controller. Mr. Aleksick has one year remaining in his term.

Ms. Erma Zamora, a retired member who was employed with the Career Service Authority. Ms. Zamora has two years remaining in her term.

This three-person, non-voting Committee represents members at monthly Retirement Board meetings. The purpose of the Committee is to offer suggestions and advice to the Retirement Board throughout the year.
