On August 22, 2007, the Denver Employees Retirement Plan hosted the annual Open House for retired members. The Plan staff, members of the Plan's Retirement Board, representatives from Health Insurance companies, and approximately 225 retired members attended the festivities this year.

Sandwiches and other refreshments, along with punch and coffee, were served. White party tents were set up in the back yard of the Plan's office, to provide the guests a shady place to sit, eat, chat, and enjoy the day.

Our retired guests commented on how nice it was to catch up with coworkers from their years with the City/DHHA. The feelings of friendship, and the festive atmosphere, certainly made this year's Open House an event to remember!
